In Project View, you can set the order of your tasks. There are several ways to do this:

• Click and drag a task up or down the list
• Select a task and click the "Promote Task" or "Demote Task" buttons.
• Select a task and choose "Promote Selected Task" or "Demote Selected Task" from the "Actions" menu.
• Select a task and hit F11 to move it up or F12 to move it down.

You can also drag tasks from the task list to other projects in the project list when you're in Project View. This is a quick way to change tasks' projects without using the drop-down field in each task.

The "Next Actions" view uses the order that you set here to determine which tasks to show you. Read about the "Next Actions" view here. If you aren't familiar with what "Next Actions" are, you might want to read this.

The order you set here is also the default sort order for several reports.
